Shower Repairs

Have you previously tried to have your shower sealed to prevent it from leaking, been offered a guarantee to only realise that the guarantee is void in the event of building movement?

Our Leaking Showers Repair Process

The first step in the shower repair process is to organise one of our specialised technicians to come out to your home to assess the damage and cause. Our technician will advise you of the cause and provide you with the RIGHT solution. We will then issue you with a detailed quote and schedule upfront before any work is carried out.

We will do our best to minimise disruption and increase efficiency while maintaining the great quality standards our company always adheres to.

The process

  • Remove the shower screen depending on the type of screen
  • Remove bottom row of wall tiles
  • Removal of floor tiles
  • Acid wash substrate
  • Polyurethane bond breakers applied in junctions
  • Installation of high flexibility waterproof membrane
  • Installation of wall and floor tiles
  • Installation of Grout
  • Re installation of shower screen depending on the type screen
  • Final clean up and removal of rubbish

Duration : 1-2 days

If you decide that you want the whole shower area tiled with new tiles and maybe change your exiting shower screen we can also assist you with this process.

Commercial Clients

We understand that our commercial clients and strata companies we deal with have a great responsibility to get the job done right and efficiently while keeping costs to a minimum. There lies a temptation for many large companies to adopt a quick fix remedy for the sake of efficiency and cost but the problem is you have to do the job again and again and again. We have spoken to a number of strata and real estate companies in which they informed us that are now realising that quick fixes are almost never the best option and end up costing more money and more time increasing heartache and disturbances to the tenants and most importantly fail over time.

See many companies out there claim to stop leaking showers without the removal of tiles at a low cost, added with a 10 year warranty. You will think so what’s the problem? The problem is these companies use an epoxy waterproof resin, soak it in the grout and fill the internal junctions with thick and ugly sealants which remain visible. The problem with this resin is that it is very rigid and brittle. You might say there is a 10 year warranty, but is there?

In the terms and conditions it clearly states that in the case of any building/structural movement all warranty becomes void and which building is without structural movement?

We have tailored packages for our commercial clients. We can save you a lot of money and heartache. We do it once, we do it right. Speak to one of our professionals today and see the difference we can make to your business.
